The only negative thing about this table is that the top of the table is like wall paper and when the kids dropped only a few drops of water on it the paper peeled off.Other than that it is very easy to fold and unfold.

I had been shopping for some time for a children's table that would stand the test from six great grandchildren. With luck and determination, I found this hardwood folding table. It is very sturdy, easy to set up and I also like the natural wood color. My grands get a table their size and use it for everything. I even use it for my jigsaw puzzles when they are not around. I am pleased with my purchase and so very glad I found this company's website.

The top of the table is not wood. It is a veneer that comes off easily. I tried to protect the table by sticking on a 'table topper' disposable placemat... bad idea. When I pulled it off, the finish came right off of the table! It is no stronger than a piece of cardboard. Too bad because the rest of the table seems well constructed and was so easy to set up. I also love the matching chairs. I'm not sure why they wouldn't use something more durable for a children's table?? I'm going to have to figure out how to completely cover up the top now. :(
