I love the design of my lamps and I am very happy that I do not have to live with the average stuff you get here in stores, but the shades could be attached just a tad bit more sturdy. As long as nobody crawls into the corners behind the side tables though, they are just fine and this little draw back is not really a problem at all.

When I took the lamp out of the box all of the material at the top of the shade which was acting as binding was loose or applied improperly. If I had been able to turn the shade over the other end was better but that is impossible.
Rather than go through the hassle of sending this lamp back to
your store, I am going to try to find some binding or material myself to repair this.
I had gotten a similar floor model lamp from your establishment and it was excellent. However, this lamp I would not recommend to anyone because of the status of the lamp shade.

We like it. we have this lamp in our bedroom and couldn't be any happier.
