What does the ceiling plate look like, flat or domed white or stainless? A:The canopy is flat and when a white cord is ordered a white steel canopy is provided. If a black cord is ordered it comes with a flat black steel canopy. The Bisque is unfinished but can be maintained by using a soft damp cloth. The real advantage of the Bisque is that it it paintable. Jacob
