A:The fixture weighs approximately 25 lbs. It looks more like a beige/cream color on the manufacturer website. I think the lighting that was used to take the photo gives it a golden appearance. If you look at our photo to the upper left of the ring, you can see the color looks different than the rest of the shade. Also, depending on which shade you choose, the color changes a bit.
