The fixture is as good if not better than the description and the photo. It installed easily and all the parts were there. We converted the fixture to a swag lamp and it worked out perfectly with the chain length.

The lamp came promptly and was very well packaged to protect against breakage. Very easy to assemble and hang from the ceiling. You can control the amount it hangs from flush against ceiling to six feet. Good quality construction e.g. porcelain light bulb sockets.

This lamp looks just as nice as the pictures (we got it in bronze), and is a perfect height for a dining room table (without the chain). The glass is very large, and it was quite difficult to install - not surpisingly, the instructions were a bit vague.

Received light in a package that was not designed to adequately contain the contents. The glass was stuffed in at a 45 degree angle and the styrefoam was in pieces, while the bubble wrap was all wadded up into a ball over the hardware. While untangling this mess, a mouse jumped out that I later caught with a trap. However,needing a light for the room for a scheduled dinner party, and because all the contents were there I hung it with some difficulty, but was pleased with its appearance. Using 100 watt bulbs was also difficult due to minimum room as they touch the glass. It wasn't until I turned the light on that I noticed a one inch crack at the base of the glass, which is annoying, but we can live with. Since then I wished I had ordered a larger pendant light of at least 22 to 24 inches and have been brousing your site looking to purchase a replacement. We love the look of the light, but only wished it was better packaged and would consider purchasing one like it if offered in a larger diameter. So far, I have broused through 85 of your 269 pages looking. Thank you for the offer to comment on this experience
