The lamp really looks like the picture! It turned out perfect for our living room, providing a bit of elegance but still not being over indulgent. The lamp itself is not heavy. The instructions were left out how to assemble the lamp but it wasn't too difficult to figure out.

WHAT IS THE VIEW FROM BELOW? A:There isn't a shield on the fixture and you would have a view of the 3 bulbs. By hanging the fixture at appropriate length will provide both the correct light and avoid having to look up at the bulbs. Christy
