This is a lovely light, it sounds like a windc hime when installing it! I have it installed over my jetted bathtub, the light is broken up through the shells and is quite pretty. Takes 2 people to install as it is assembled and the strands tangle VERY easily. Was a little annoyed that several strands were pulled loose from frame and will have to get fishing line to reconnect them. I spent approx. an hour and a half untangling strands after unpacking it. I thought it was a bit pricey, but it is just what I was wanting shouldn't complain I guess! I used a clear bulb in it so you couldn't see it as much through the shells.

This was for my daughter's room and it fit perfect. I am also an electrician so I can tell you this product is well made. No cheap parts at all.

It was just what I expected, and it looks great on my living room.

I am an Interior Designer constantly looking for the best quality product at the best price for my clients. The capiz shells are large,full strung well so the light shows through as illumination not a glaring light bulb. This light is for over a bed(my choice), corner light in living room, or a bathroom. Not a task light. My only small complaint and it is overshadowed by the value of the light itself is the round metal pieces that the shells hang from. A better design would have hidden those.
