If you're an Eichler or Mid-Century Modern homeowner, these are great low-cost period style fixtures

Moving from a new house where the builder had installed this same pendant. Loved it so much that I bought one for my "older" new home. Kitchen looks great--just enough of a contemporary splash. Nice, clean lines.

This design gives about the optimal combination of direct and uplighting with very-low levels of glare. I installed twelve of these fixtures in a multi-purpose space. We use CFL's in these fixtures (rated for enclosed fixtures) and the overall result is very attractive. The fit and finish of the fixtures is very good. The glass is very even. The height adjustment is straigtforward, but getting the height right is probably the trickiest part of the installation of multiple fixtures.

I had this type lighting globe in my Geodesic Dome Home in Spartanburg, SC for many years. Also used them in my home in Germany before I moved to USA.

I just like the form and the smooth lighting effect of these globes.

I am very happy with my purchase after installing it a year ago.
