We purchased this light fixture today for our dining room. We have a small, open floorplan home, and this was ideal for our needs. It was very easy to install, and we are very satisfied. I noted that some reviewers were concerned about the bare-bulb look. We installed a 75 watt-equivalent LED bright white bulb in ours, and it definitely does not look like a "light bulb". It looks like a light globe, rather than a bulb, and in addition provides more light than a regular or even a CF bulb. I'd recommend this option to those concerned about a bare-bulb look.

We actually liked the light but its in our entryway and felt like we were looking straight into a bulb... so we are getting something bowl shaped so that we don't see the exposed bulb. I talked to LU about this and they would not allow a return since it had been installed. I know it says it right on the website but it still feels like a big risk to buy again from them online in case you dont like the light after its up.

We really liked this light after a LONG search for something modern-ish for an old house that would work. We love it and its a good quality light. Our only problem is that we have high ceilings and its in the entry way so you are basically looking straight up into a light bulb. I think we are going to return it for this reason.. but an upward facing light may just be our personal preference.

I bought this for my dining table. I didn't want it too formal so this was the prefect fit. It took my husband no time to put it up. It hangs over a table, so I'm not staring at a bulb like others have stated. In the right place, this is a great value.
