This looked so good in the picture, but when I got it, it was just thick plastic with a film of translucent pearly material slapped on it randomly. The fixture looks like the picture when it's off, but when you turn it on -- it glows yellow -- and makes the entire room yellow! I guess this might work if your room is yellow -- mine's not! I sent it back. The company originally sent me the dark version of this light, which is even worse -- it lights up the room in orange! for the same money, you can get much nicer looking fixtures, that throw a nice white light.
