	Can the switch for ceiling fan and light be used for a kitchen range hood fan and light....? A:This fan will work for what you are looking for. However you may run into performance issues with it because it is designed for a normal fan with a quite motor. What you are looking for is called a fully variable control switch, which will work much better for your kitchen hood fan. Try searching for item number 261595G and that's the switch you want.
