Color appears to be more brown than red when delivered. Also needed to place a second order as I missed that fact that the transformer is a separate item to purchase. Made it a bit more expensive than I planned.

Some electrical incompatibility prevented installation without substantial (read expensive) modifications.

We ordered 2 of these pendant lights. They are beautiful, and high quality. You do need to order some accessories with them (as stated when you order and on the order page), but you can get them at your local hardware store.
