From the picture on the website, I thought this pendant was black or dark metal, but it turned out to be silvery metal and not what I needed.

I was a little worried about the copper not looking convincing, but it looks great! I bought two for my kitchen and they add just the right amount of sparkle to the room. I would definitely reccommend them.

After a long search for the perfect pendant to go over our island, we happened upon the Harbour Pendant (in brushed steel). We couldn't find the right color of glass to match our kitchen (cherry-stained maple cabinets, uba tuba granite, tan tumbled stone and glass/shell backsplash and stainless appliances). The Harbour Pendant is perfect since it brings out the stainless and the nickel hardware in our kitchen without clashing with the cabinet or backsplash colors, and we can easily change our decor. The amount of light the pendants provide is perfect over an island. My only concern is being able to replace the bulbs when they eventually burn out.

The pendant is very simple.... Basically just a wire with a small steel shade. It looks like I bought it at IKEA. Quality is fine but it looks and feels like a 10$ light.
