These looks great and I've received many complements on them, however, as soon as the bulbs burned out, that's it...either do some transformer type wiring or buy new ones.

The light looks great, but it has a cheap transformer for the 12v bulb mounted in the base cup. The transformer has a non-replaceable fuse. If it blows, you either have to do some circuit board soldering or throw the whole fixture out.

I love this pendant. It gives just the right amount of light over my breakfast bar. I already had pendants there, so it was easy to take them down and put up these new ones. I would have had an electrician do it if I wouldn't of already had wiring and a box available.

I really like this light but the canopy is Huge. The canopy is the part where the fixture attaches to the ceiling and covers the hole. This canopy sits about 4" low because the transformer is hidden in it. I really did not like this look because my ceiling is too low. I had to buy a different 1" canopy at home depot online.

I also thought this light would illuminate different shades of colors through the hole. But I guess this bulb type does not do that. I was kind of disappointed in that also.

Other that that the fixture is good quality and pretty easy to install. The low voltage wire is great because it allows the wire to be very thin.
