We recently remodeled our kitchen with a rustic farmhouse look. These lights fit the style perfectly as well as provide great light. We have a sloped ceiling, so it took a little creative thinking, but we ended up using 3 of the 12 inch length poles for one light and for the other, we used 2 and 6 inches of the chain that came with the light. We weren't able to cut the pole length down to get the light at the same level, but the chain worked out just fine and looks good too. Something to think about though if you have a sloped ceiling and are installing more than one light. Very happy with this purchase.
