The advertised picture is not a very good representation of the actual product! The actual product coating is very glossy & for lack of better words "blingy" looking. However at night with the lights on they become more attractive. Quality seems good & they're sturdy.

Love the shade but the dome ceiling mount is ugly.  Takes away from the long cord.  Looks outdated.  Make sure you ask about those things when you order.  Sometimes they don't give you the full picture.  I hadn't thought about it and now their mounted and I hate the mount. What a pain in the butt to replace it.
