Overview

The Sola Rail Easy Kit includes all the hardware needed to install a nine foot Rail run.

The 100 watt surface transformer mounts to a standard 4 inch square junction box with round plaster ring, not included.
Rail drops 3.5 inches from the ceiling.
Dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer.
Includes five 3 inch Sola heads with glass shades and 12 volt, 20 watt, Halogen MR16 lamps.
Maximum 20 watt lamp to be used with this fixture.

Note: Matte Nickel finish does not exactly match Satin Nickel finish featured on the Rail and MonoPoint components.

The bulbs that came with it do not provide much light.  I'm going to try to get brighter ones at Lowes but there is a 40w max.

I have purchased this rail kit to put on top of a bar.  It was easy to install and the look is nothing less than what I expected.  Before buying the customer service from Lighting Universe helped me choose the items for my needs.  Great help for a great buy.

We are very happy with the Tiella Sola Rail light.  It's a good thing we had an electrician install it, though.  It was supposed to have 3 rods to connect it to the ceiling; it only came with 2.  And the electrician hooked the light up to our original dimmer switch but had to replace that with a digital dimmer switch because we were getting lots of flicker and finally no power at all.  With the new switch, the lights work beautifully.

Constant source of frustration. Connectors and tranformer are cheap. Looks do not outweigh hassle. Could be a great fixture if the manufacturer didn't skimp on the quality of the components. Would not recommend.
