Not easy to find a simple design isand chandelier WITHOUT CHAIN. Chain is a nuisance to clean in the kitchen and it chan be unsightly, adding just another layer of shape/texture.

glass shade surface "disintegrated" when washed!

I was so pleased with the 3 pieces I purchesed of the Olympia collection in bronze. I took the shades off to wash them and used a small amount of DISH washing liquid in warm water. Boy, was I surprised when the Sunset finish peeled and oozed off of the glass!
After speaking to the manufacturer rep I was told there was nothing they could do, that the shades are not warranted. Now I have to spend $130.00 to replace the shades because not only don't they match the rest of my fixtures but they are a frosted white that won't clean up as well. Very disappointed!!
