Great product and a very positive buying experience. Almost 1/2 the price of a local retailer for the same item.

  • Cove and Rope Lighting Buyer's Guide November2010
Cove and rope lighting systems are designed to provide ambient alcove lighting via an indirect light source. The light is cast upwards and distributed over the ceiling of a space. These systems require less energy than more conventional lighting methods, and avoids direct lamp glare by reflecting light from behind ledges, valances, or other horizontal recesses in the upper portions of a room. Cove and rope lighting systems are either hardwired directly to a source or “soft-wired” via an outlet plug. When used as alcove lighting, the light source should be installed at least 10-14 inches from the ceiling in order maximize light wash.
