The design change causes large amounts of water to be trapped like water ballons at each segment. removeing the velcro straps causes a belly in the fabric and that catches the water. the fabric tends to tear very easy, replacement is almost guarranteed every other year and at $100.00 its not cheap. you can almost buy a new unit. make it heavier and add the straps re-enforced so they don't tear in the first wind.

Canopy was exactly as described and needed at a great price. Was backordered but shipped as soon as it was available.
