The unit initially worked fine. But after 5 months of use, one of the transformer windings apparently shorted out internally and the unit's output suddenly changed from 24 VDC to 2.3 VDC. Because I had modified the length of the power cord (which was ridiculously short BTW), I could not return the defective product for a refund and a letter to the manufacturer did not result in a replacement offer. The fixture tht accompanied this unit is fine. But I would buy someone else's power adapter.
