This fan was easy to assemble and install. It is quite, even on high speed. I really like that the light fixture is "enclosed" to keep the dirt and insects out. I liked that this fan came complete with light kit and even the bulbs...no need to try to find an light kit to fit the fan. I am very pleased with this fan.

The fan works great and looks great. The extension rod made it easy to install on our vaulted ceiling. all smiles.

The fan is visually appealing, but the hum of the motor is annoying.

Assembly would have been fine if Monte Carlo didn't use their own proprietary design for down rods instead of the standards used by other major manufacturers. Said down rods are NOT carried in inventory by either the big box stores or the local dealer for Monte Carlo.
