fan blades not what they seem

I spent months looking for dark, carved wooden fan blades for 2 ceiling fans for my living room to match my dark bamboo floor. These blades seemed to be exactly what I wanted, & they were bamboo, too! When they arrived, I discovered they are molded, flat plastic, flat & uncolored on the top & sides, and barely 'carved' on the bottom where they can be seen, & don't even LOOK like bamboo. I'm VERY disappointed, and angry because I bought the motor in a finish I don't like just to accommodate these blades.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
