The lantern was a great addition to my front yard. I bought 3 and hung them at various heights from my huge overhanging trees in the front yard. They create just the look I was hoping for. I used 40 watt equiv. 300 lumens, (9w each) warm white CFL bulbs. The light they create is warm, inviting, and pretty. The lamp itself is well constructed and insulated. Even the screws on top have rubber gasket/washers to keep drips out.

I actually used this light fixture (in white) for my bedroom. Even though it is an outdoor light, I used it inside because it is different. I did my bedroom in a coastal decor and this fits in perfectly and doesn't look like all the other ordinary ceiling fixtures. It was reasonably priced (cheaper then most ceiling fixtures) and is well made. I hung it from my ceiling with only one link of the chain. It looks great! If you want something different, go for outdoor fixtures. They add something unusual to your decor and they are sometimes less expensive then indoor lights.

I had a ceiling mounting entry light and needed a pendant light so I could change the bulb without having to get out the extension ladder. This light fit the bill perfectly and the price was excellent.

The lights were well packed so no breakage occurred during shipment. The lights were easy to install but I did have to adjust the length of the chain. Be careful as the black outer layer that covers the metal is very easily scratched. Overall they look really good once they are installed. The price and style was better than anything we found in the local hardware stores around here. We are pleased overall.
