These sconces look like they came from a designer showroom. The pictures accurately depict what they look like in person and they look fantastic at night. We put ours on a dimmer, which allows us to play with the intensity. In addition to the wall sconces, we orderded 2 post mounts to replace our current ones. However, when our electrician arrived to install the post mounts on our concrete pillars, he couldn't do it because the lights did not come with bases, which were necessary. I called Lighting Universe to find out if I could order the bases asap but I was told that Besa Lighting did not make a base for this line. Our electrician spray-painted our old bases and made them work. That was really frustrating!

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
