I purchased 4 outside fixtures, Items # 9029 and 9028 in the Tannery Brown finish. Two were 13 in. fixtures for under the porch, and two 17" attached to front of my house.
The fixtures gives my house a new look. The electrician had no problems with installation and said I made an excellent choice. The fixture is open at the bottom so that I can change the bulbs. The finish will prevent corrison, that was the problem with my old bronze fixtures. I spent many hours looking in retail stores before turning to the internet. My problem was not being able to have all the dimensions so that I knew the units would fit.
The Kirkwood actually serves as an up or down unit. I am more than pleased with my purchase and recommend these fixtures and LightingUniverse.com to any one needing lighting.

We are happy with the Kirkwood lights. They were not quite as easy to install as we'd hoped. We ultimately had to hire an electrician to complete the installation. But, that difficulty may have had to do more with our house and some shoddy construction work when the house was first built.

As far as value, I had no idea lighting was so expensive. I shopped and shopped around and found Lighting Universe to have the best selection and reasonable prices.
