Instructionas are a little challenging. I think I was missing a screw and a bolt but a replacement was easy to find. It is very attractive and easy to light once you realize where the pilot light is and that is actually lit. I don't think there is any way it will heat up a 10 foot area but it may be more effective when it is a little warmer outside.
