Basically can't say enough positive things about this product. No dimming light from weakening batteries, no climbing on a ladder to change batteries, plugs in easily at floor level, and provides perfect candle power of light for the picture.

Got the lamp and like it a lot. The problem was the bulb. Or the lack there of. There is nothing in the poorly written instructions to tell you what bulb to buy. We spent three days making calls and going to stores. When we called your help line, they too tried to call the company who made the lamp and were never able to get even an answered phone, even after three calls. We did finally get a bulb that fits and the light looks great. Decent instructions are very important and this company could really use a technical writer.

They advise you to purchase a light approximately half the width of the work you want to illuminate and I was concerned that the light would be too short, but they were right and the short 8 inch light covers the 14 inch wide work perfectly. The only improvement would be a longer cord with the switch closer to the light rather than to the floor.

Overall quality is very good -- it is sturdily built. I particularly liked the way it fastened to the back of the frame so it could be easily removed.
