bringjng light to dark spots

Use it as part of my DJ equipment to highlight posters, decorations, or just dark areas of venue.
Only problem is keeping it pointed where I want it. It usually sits on a counter or the floor, and tends to pivot on the safety switch unless the power cord is positioned right.
