This is a solidly constructed, Made-in-USA, high quality product. Yes, it is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. The assembly of the units were easy but a bit time consuming - I had 4 lights to set up - the lights do not come with the glass panels installed. They are drop-shipped from the manufacturer and the packaging was excellent - very unlikely to be shipping damage. Overall we are very happy with these post lights and with the shopping experience from Lighting Universe.
