This is the second set I have purchased - the covers look great - had to replace them due to three hurricanes - they did well thru 2 the third one was too much - however, very durable and attractive.

The wiring diagram instucts the user to combine several color-coded wires and connect them to the hot side of the electrical circuit and several other color-coded wires and connect them to the neutral side of the electrical circuit. The problem is that the color of the wires connected to the wall lantern do not correspond to the colors described in the instructions. To add to the confusion, two of the wires are the same color and texture, white and smooth. Therefore, unless you are a lincensed electrician, it is immpossible to tell which wires belong to hot side and which to the neutral side of the electrical circuit. Was the QC department out to lunch that day?

I found that the installation was relatively easy, however the wire bundle did not easily fit behind the light when installed on a standard pancake box. I also found that the sensors were probably too sensitive and any additional lighting did not allow the lights to turn on. I ended up disabling the sensor and relay on the switch to turn them on.

The style and overall quality however was excellent and I would buy them again. It would be nice to have a choice of sensor activated or without sensor.
