The mirror is heavy and handsome, but I was disappointed that the 2 inner corners were not welded, so there is a gap on the upper left and lower right corners. Not worth returning it, but a bummer not withstanding.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love the mirror. Inside corners are no welded, be careful hanging it up or they will separate a bit. Overall, very happy with the look and quality of the mirror. It is very heavy.
