These trims are nice and really made of metal. I was concerned that they may not fit a 6" Halo can, but they seem to. I received them and they seemed to fit. They use a spring system that hooks onto the sides. I only tried one, but have not kept it on, since I am still painting. If you are worried about them working with Halo, go for it.
