I've been searching everywhere for an attractive and functional uplight. I bought two of these to solve a recessed problem lighting area in a very dark house. They even have an electric eye and will come on automatically when darkness falls. Great value.

  • Q: I want to use this light to spotlight artwork in a room that doesn't have great lighting. Does the on/off switch override the photocell, so I can turn the spotlight on, even when there is generalized light in the room?

    A: I called the Mfr and they told me that no it will not work that way. When it is off it will not come on.
