This sconce is very substantial and is a great addition to my new contemporary/transitional bathroom. I love the color of the glass and metal, and think the black finish is a great alternative to the (I think) overused oiled bronze. The only thing I would change is the rougher finish of the metal. I would prefer a smoother finish, although I love the flat finish of the metal over a shiny one.
