Easy shopping experience. We tried a variety of cheaper options from other stores but these bedside lights are the best and worth the extra money. The dimmer switches work well and provide great low light as well as stronger light for reading. Only one small issue is that they are not cool to touch, and presumably that is due to the high wattage of the lights - So they do heat up and so you need to use the small leaver to tilt the head, rather than touching it.

Purchased two lamps for reading in bed. Although I am listing a lot of cons, I would still buy these having seeing and used the lamps.
Pros:
Lamps looks nice style-wise.
No blemishes on finish.
Bright light, functions fine.
Cons:
Base is weighted to keep lamp from tipping, but really could use either a little more weight or a redistribution of the weight directly opposite the arm to add a little margin to its stability.
On-off knob / dimmer is smooth polished chrome and slippery (I put a rubber band on one pending a better solution).
The underside of the head of the lamp is soft stamped aluminum.
The clamps that hold the glass shatter / UV screen to the head of the lamp are functional, but don't sit flush.
