I set it up like the last remote and didn't work. The orignial fell to the floor is why this one was purchaced. I have to take part of the fan apart to see if it works.......maybe I'll have to get a new fan....???? I'll know more this afternoon. Thank you so far the other Hunter Fan is doing great. I hope I can get this one working.

This product sticks out from the wall too far and is a large cumbersome remote. Hunter needs to have a recessed control for CLFs - they need to get their act together on "green products"

    A: Most do not. You will need to flip the switch on the fan to switch the blade direction.
