This is a beautiful modern looking lamp. The only issue we had was that the warehouse obviously stacks their shades together and we had to go through at least 3 reissues of the shade. We ended up with 1 that is perfect, all of the others show a line where the one above it was stacked and there is no way to remove that line. Other that this frustration, dealing with this lamp vendor was a good exerience.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
