We wanted some lighting on the cathedral ceiling in our fairly large living room without doing the typical track lighting and bought 6 of these. We aren't sorry with the choice. Its definitely directional lighting, not a flood light that spreads througout the room. But you can adjust the heads to transfer light around. We did need to be careful that 1 of the 4 strong directional lights didn't shine in your face when entering a room so it took some effort but we are satisfied with the quality. The only negative was the packing. Several of the light bulbs (which are included) were broken and they were costly to replace.

I ordered this light to add illumination to a dark family room that had only a fan/light and very little window light. It does well, and was not hard to install. We had to buy a medallion to cover a hole made by the light fixture previously there, and add a box and brace but it wasn't hard for my boyfriend. The light looks good.

This is the same light I wanted from a local supplier, but they would charge much more, take 2 weeks to deliver, and charge me for shipping. Your light came in 2 days with NO shipping charges. It was installed on the diagonal in the center of my kitchen ceiling to provide task lighting focused on counter tops. I recently installed recessed lighting to replace an old fluorescent unit, but discovered I wanted more light directed onto workspaces, and this really fills the bill! Thanks so much for such good service and a good quality piece!
