While the light appears to be a very nice light and so far has worked well (2 weeks) the instructions sent along with it were designed for quite a few lights and they are all different such that it made a simple task a lot more challenging than it should have been. I have replaced EVERY ceiling light in my house so that experience helped me but without it I would have been even more frustrated than I already was.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
