I use two sets of these lights in my Art Gallery. They are perfect for spotlighting paintings and for highlighting parts of the gallery as well. Will be adding more to my art studios for spotlighting my work stations.

The small black transformers on the end of the chop stick that holds the 20w bulbs melted on 6 of my cable systems. i bought 8 tracks and they looked great until the melting started. after numerous attempts to get new transformers or the entire chopstick i gave up and bought other lights. it's a lot of work to get assembled for them not to last.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

When you are attaching the lights to the cable the set screw tends to crossthread and not penetrate the wire to make the connection. The set screw is loose in the thread and to short for the application. But overall, once installed product does look good. You get what you pay for...

    A: This fixture is only equiped to handle 20w bulbs, you can go down in wattage but not up.
