The image does not give you a full view of the silver mounting plate. The detail seen in the bottom of the picture does NOT extend to the upper half. The only way these would work is if they were HIGH above eye level so you don't see the top half of the mounting disc/plate.

Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
