My husband just installed the light today. It was easy to do but it took both of us at one point. I held the light (to take the weight off the chain) so he could attach the light to the ceiling. We have it over our counter and it puts out a lot of light.
The box that it arrived in was torn when it got here and one of the sockets was bent a little. We were able to straighten it out. It is a pretty light fixture but it is bigger than it appeared in the picture.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
