The lamp arrived very poorly packed, and the shade was crushed. I immediately called to order another and was told it would be shipped in a couple of days from the manufacturer. Over a week later and still no notice of shipping. Also, the lamp is black, not "rich earth brown" as stated in the description.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
