They quality of the light is good--I was a little concerned that it would be too blue, and it is more blue than the indandescent lights I had in the same location previously, but it looks fine and has operated flawlessly for several hours each day for over a year now.

I have used my rope led as above cabinet and under cabinet lighting. Now it serves as a night light along a window sill.
I have never had a bit of trouble with this product.I just love my rope light.
