6" line voltage recessed light housing.
- Thermally Protected - All IC housings are approved for use in direct contact with insulation. Non-IC housings are approved for use where insulation is kept at least three inches away from the housing.
- Junction box saves on installation time. New construction models feature integral non metallic building wire connectors, quick-push and lock connector and branch through circuit wiring with four in-four out #12 wire. While the remodel version features snap on covers, pry-out knock outs, riveted ground wire, thru branch circuit wiring, two in-two out #12 wire.
- The housing of New Construction versions adjusts vertically for various ceiling thicknesses. On the Remodel version the housing is removable for easy access to the junction box.
- Variable Socket Plate - Both feature a variable socket assembly that provides flexibility in lamping options and precise lamp placement with various trims.
Integral Captive Nail - Nails included for fast, easy installation.Breakaway Flange for easy retrofitting into existing ceilings and for remodel applications.Bar Hanger - Housing has variable bar hangers that can extend up to 24 inches. These bar hangers easily extend and will not fall out of plaster flange providing sturdy installation.Bar Hanger Locking Tabs - Squeeze tabs with pliers to lock the bar hangers into place.Note: For use with wire rated 60 degrees Celsius. Trim is not included, please see related products for trim selections. The bulb is not included with this fixture.
