It is not the brightest of lamps but it is just right for a bedroom, a warm hue and very easy to turn on and off. It has a night lite in the stand part too. It is great for a boys room or any room you need a little bit of warm light. good for reading in bed. Great size too, not too big or too small.

I bought two of these for the bedroom. Lighting is kinda dim but the switch has three positions, one for the night light and the other two for the main bulbs. The second switch position should be for one of the two main bulbs and the third switch position should be for both main bulbs. That's not how it is. Two switch postions do the same thing, namely light both main bulbs. Oh contrariety! Aside from that one of the two lamp shades arrived with a crack about four inches long. I'll put that side toward the wall and play with the switch.

I would recommend these table lamps, they look wonderful in our bedroom and the lighting is quite good. they are of good quality. The only thing to think about is that you don't have setting for just one bulb on at a time. Your choices are 2 bulbs, 2 bulbs plus night light or just night light. We still like them very much despite this not so important detail.
