The light was exactly as expected, and in good condition. I wanted aluminum to prevent rust, enclosed construction to keep the bugs out and frosted glass to hide the fluorescent lamp, so it fit the requirements. The only comment is that the actual lamp is a bright white which looks unnatural for an outdoor light so I went to the hardware store and picked up a replacement lamp for $6.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
