The shade was not connected adequately to the suspension arm...had to add washers and re attach the arm so the shade was solid and not wobbly....very cheap. Should have cost maybe 30.00
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I bought two similar lamps. Both had poor paint and both had damage where the shade is attached to the stem. However, the damage probably came from the over-seas shipping since the boxes were fine. Damage was not visible until the lamps were unpacked. Overall quality is poor. Materials used were flimsy. I would not recommend.

Poor quality control to have let this pass inspection. It came bent with parts loose and the large rim on the shade was black almost all the way around and not a brushed finish.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is a great fixture for a location that doesnt need to be cleaned often, and that doesnt need to put up with abuse.

Its a great looking fixture, and for the price, its a wonderful solution, though the metal is a bit thinner than I would like.
