This multiple-stepped sconce, hand crafted of fired Bisque ceramic, is a smaller version of the "San Marcos" sconce. It features an open top and bottom to provide both uplighting and downlighting. The natural white Bisque is an ideal surface for painting. This fixture comes standard unfinished, but if a finish is desired it can be added for an additional cost; please see finish options below. Finishe choices include solid acrylic colors or hand applied faux finishes.

This sconce can also be ordered wired with a single outdoor par socket suitable for use in locations subject to direct contact with rain or spray. It is recommended that you use a shatter resistant tough skin bulb with the outdoor model. It is suitable for wet locations by simply rotating the sconce (down light only) so that the socket and wiring is sheltered. In order to comply with established electrical code, the installer must provide a water tight seal with silicone between the fixture housing and the wall.
A cosmetic diffuser is available for this sconce. The diffuser is used when the top of the fixture is visible from above.

We were looking for something different for our southern calif. home that nobody else had, rather than the same boring offerings from Home Depot we saw on every other house on the street. These (one for the front doorway and two/one on each side of our garage)were just the ticket and add tremendously to the overall curb appeal of our home. We got them in white and they contrast perfectly with the tan shade of our house with white trim. The indirect lighting that they cast at night when lit is great. They definitely add a desert-like 'Palms Springs' kind of look for lack of a better description. We have received lots of compliments on them and would recommend them to anyone looking for some great outdoor lighting to add to their home. They also arrived very well packed and in perfect condition and I found their quality to be top-notch. I swear I still look at them every morning when I leave for work.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
